We all know that person who would choose a night in on the sofa snuggled in a pair of new PJ’s over a night on the town (in case you hadn’t gathered I am definitely that person.) Christmas is the ideal time to treat said person to something that shows you know them better than anyone and appreciate their cosy needs. Here’s what I wouldn’t mind finding under my tree this year…
It’s not Christmas unless you’ve got a new pair of PJ’s to snuggle up in. These tartan jogger bottom style PJ’s from Next have been the best purchase I’ve made all year. They’re super soft and comfy and nothing beats whacking these on after a long day at the office. For some slightly swankier ones these New Look bad boys have been keeping me cosy whilst still ensuring I look relatively presentable at the same time.
Believe it or not I had never owned a dressing gown until last Christmas and man alive I cannot live without it now. A dressing gown is the perfect gift to find under your tree to snuggle up in on Boxing Day when you’re eating all of the turkey sandwiches. This one from Next is the softest thing EVER but isn’t so thick they’ll end up overheating after 5 minutes.
Everyone loves a good candle and sometimes some of the best ones are the cheapest ones (Home Bargains Gingerbread is UNREAL) That being said sometimes it’s nice to treat someone to a little bit of luxury which is where The White Company comes in. Not only do their candles look great they smell pretty fab too filling your home with all the wintery smells.
I’ve been put on a mug buying ban now that our cupboard is literally overflowing with pretty crockery. This gal just can’t resist a good mug and I’m SURE a cup of tea always tastes better when it’s out of a new mug. Anthropologie are the unofficial king of mugs and I’m pretty sure there isn’t anyone who wouldn’t like finding one of these in their stocking.
A good percentage of my Christmas presents are normally edible and boy I am not complaining. It’s always a treat to find some chocolate in the bottom of your stocking and whether they’re a Cadbury’s kind of gal or fancy a bit more of a treat come December 25th you can never go wrong with a good ol’ box of the good stuff.
A good jumper is a winter essential and normally they’re a pretty multitasking item; doubling up as both an outdoor and indoor piece. A cosy roll neck is the perfect gift for the girl in your life who is always cold or you could even treat them to a festive themed number like this one to wear on the big day.
Whether you’re buying for your mum, sister, best friend, grandma or girlfriend if they like getting cosy then I can guarantee they’ll LOVE these.
