Embracing the Great Outdoors

Embracing the Great Outdoors

I have never been much of an outdoors person. I grew up in the countryside and although much of my childhood was spent ‘playing out’ and I lived in a town so small that we could and did walk everywhere; that’s about where my ‘outdoorsy’ side ends. I’m much more at home when I’m parked on the sofa and god forbid someone suggests an outdoor activity or even worse, camping.

Why I’m Ripping Up My Life Plan…And You Should Too

Why I’m Ripping Up My Life Plan…And You Should Too

I have always been a gal with a plan. I pride myself on my organisation and planning skills and be it a holiday, a birthday or my whole blummin’ life; I will ALWAYS have a plan. I live my life knowing exactly what I’m doing every day of the week, right down to what day I’m doing my laundry and when I’ve set aside time to binge-watch Dynasty on Netflix. That being said I’m a country gal at heart and sometimes a few days out of the fast lane is just what the doctor ordered. I’ve spoken before about how important is to ‘switch off’ from all things digital and last weekend I took it one step further.

My Top Places Online For Every Day Inspiration

OK so I know in last weeks post I was waxing lyrical about the importance of ‘switching off’ and spending some time away from the screen and don’t get me wrong I haven’t suddenly changed my mind, I AM making an effort to put my phone down and enjoy the moment. That being said the internet is a marvellous place and with so many sites and users it’s a great place to find inspiration and information.

If I must stare at a screen then I at least try and be productive whilst doing it and I can often be found scrolling the following sites when I’m in need of a lil bit of life inspiration…
