How many people do you see posting a meme on a Sunday night about how much they’re dreading Monday morning? Or who religiously count down via ‘humpday’ until they’ve finally got that Friday feeling? We all do it but considering most of us require our jobs so we can actually keep a roof over our heads, put food on the table and keep up an excessive shopping habit, there’s not much chance of us quitting tomorrow to ‘follow our dreams.’
I have never been much of an outdoors person. I grew up in the countryside and although much of my childhood was spent ‘playing out’ and I lived in a town so small that we could and did walk everywhere; that’s about where my ‘outdoorsy’ side ends. I’m much more at home when I’m parked on the sofa and god forbid someone suggests an outdoor activity or even worse, camping.
OK so I know in last weeks post I was waxing lyrical about the importance of ‘switching off’ and spending some time away from the screen and don’t get me wrong I haven’t suddenly changed my mind, I AM making an effort to put my phone down and enjoy the moment. That being said the internet is a marvellous place and with so many sites and users it’s a great place to find inspiration and information.
If I must stare at a screen then I at least try and be productive whilst doing it and I can often be found scrolling the following sites when I’m in need of a lil bit of life inspiration…
