I love Valentine’s Day. Not because I head out for a fancy dinner with my boyfriend all dressed up or because we give each other overpriced presents. I just love the cheesiness and the mush. I love any excuse to celebrate all things love, not just with my boyfriend but my family and mates too. If you are celebrating this year then I’ve put together a gift guide, all of which is under £20. For me, Valentine’s Day isn’t about spending loads it’s about the thoughtful and cheesy little things. And if you’re not celebrating then there’s some great ideas to treat yourself to, self-love and all that… Happy Valentine’s Day!
Zara Perfume- Perfume is always a winning gift in my eyes and the Zara options smell AMAZING without breaking the bank. I’m a huge fan!
Pink Champagne Truffles- Every girl loves chocolate and you can’t go wrong with fancy choccies. If these pink champagne ones taste as good as they look then you’re other half will be in for a treat.
The New Fashion Rules- Victoria aka In The Frow bought out her book last year and it’s the perfect gift for anyone interested in fashion and instagram. The cover also looks gorgeous meaning it’s the perfect coffee table book.
Matching Mugs- Valentine’s Day is alllll about the cheesy, novelty gifts and these mugs are super cute and the perfect accompaniment to breakfast in bed.
Coffee Gift Set- if the man in your life is a coffee fan then a luxury coffee set is a great option for something he’ll actually use whilst being something he probably wouldn’t treat himself to. Plus it’s the perfect excuse to use your matching mugs....
Lonely Planet Book- what better way to drop hints on where you want to jet off to this year than with Lonely Planet’s Best in Travel 2019 book. These kind of books are the perfect way to get allll the travel inspo.
Personalised Wallet Card- if your other half is anything like mine then he’s not really the type to carry photos in his wallet. These personalised metal cards mean you can write him a cute/rude/funny message for him to carry round with him all the time. Cuuuuutee.
Date Night Ideas- when it comes to choosing what to do on ‘date night’ me and my boyfriend are awful. We can never make a decision, much like when we’re picking a film on Netflix, and end up spending half the night deciding what to actually do. This pack of date night ideas means he’s never got an excuse for not coming up with something!
